RICS Homebuyer Reports

We have wide experience in providing Homebuyer Reports for properties in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and South West London.  We also provide property valuations.

Whilst a mortgage valuation is a brief report usually aimed at the provider of a loan, a Homebuyer Report is prepared solely for the purchaser and gives a more detailed assessment of the property’s condition and the main factors which can affect the value and saleability of the property.

Your Report would be prepared by a Chartered Surveyor who is also a RICS Registered Valuer and it would describe the property, detail any defects and offer advice on resolving issues as well as give a Condition Rating to each element of the property, so that you can readily see where any problems are to be found.  Our reports include pictures of any defects and we both email and post reports to clients.

The Homebuyer Report also provides a Market Valuation, together with a rebuilding cost guideline figure.

RICS Condition Reports - new for 2012

We also offer purchasers the opportunity of having a RICS Condition Report prepared by a Chartered Surveyor.

These reports, which do not include a Valuation or guide to rebuilding cost, are a cheaper alternative to the Homebuyer Report but are prepared following the same careful style of through inspection.  Again, reports are both emailed and sent by post, allowing clients to forward the email version to their solicitor if they wish easily and quickly.

We can also provide Market Valuations, if required.

Unlike some firms, we do not charge upfront for Homebuyer or Condition Reports.  We send our invoice with the Report.
